Emergency First Aid

RSTO has created a major training sector, 'Emergency Care’, which emphasises training not only at advanced levels, but from the very basic level in first aid too. The most basic course is Emergency First Aid, a course adjusted for the using in the community or at work. If you were to attend as an individual, you would most likely be attending 'Emergency First Aid for the Community', a course that bypasses all the procedures that are required at work, concentrating on more general and appropriate levels of first aid. Businesses should request the 'Emergency First Aid at Work' course which is specifically designed for the working environment. This course can be adjusted to the requirements of organisation based on risk assessment and potential hazards.

At the end of course you will be able to:

  • Help an unresponsive victim
  • Help a non-breathing victim
  • Help an injured, unresponsive victim
  • To identify serious illness
  • Help a chocking victim
  • Know how to help a victim while protecting yourself and others around you
