Sports First Aid




All gyms, dance studios, and other sport related areas have injury related emergencies that a trained provider with specialised knowledge on treating such injuries could assist and provide adequate care. RSTO has designed the sports first aid training program to provide special guidance in specific emergencies likely to be address at such specific locations. Depending on the country or regional guidelines, the course will be structured accordingly, ensuring the minimum requirements.

At the end of course you will:

  • Know how to help an injured person, while protecting yourself and others
  • Help a victim who has a sprain, strain or dislocations
  • Help a victim suffering from damage to Achilles tendon and cramp
  • Help an injured victim with fracture including spinal injuries
  • Know how to identify serious illness
  • Help an unresponsive victim
  • Learn how to perform a physical assessment

Becoming a Sports First Aid Instructor is now extremely easy with the training procedures which RSTO promotes. The training to become an instructor will ensure quality of service which, in return, an instructor can pass on to others. The instructor can always have the flexibility of adapting the course to the specific needs of the audience. To becoming a Sports First Aid Instructor, you must contact us and provide a refference regarding your background knowledge and skills as a Sports Professional. As for the course, all successful applicants who pass the course will receive the following:
